Pastor Darryl Victor Phoenix

New Home Family Worship Center – Hammond

Darryl Victor Phoenix, the eldest son of Royal Phoenix and Porcha Bright, heeded the call of God to preach His Word in 1988, while under the leadership of Bishop Robert C. Blakes, Sr.  During this time, he served as Assistant Pastor for the New Home Ministries of Hammond, Louisiana.  While in Hammond, Darryl Victor Phoenix proved himself faithful, loyal, and above all diligent in the study of God’s Word.

Darryl Victor Phoenix was ordained on September 23, 1992.  He was appointed as Pastor of the New Home Ministries of Hammond, Louisiana on February 17, 1995.  Pastor Phoenix came with a impelling vision to reach into the community and make assessable, the tools deemed necessary to raise men, women, boys, and girls to a level of excellence which will cause them to discover their hidden potential as well as Enlighten them spiritually according to the Word of the Almighty God.  He has been chosen to bring divine order to the house of God through prayer, faithfulness, diligence, and total dependency on the Lord.

Pastor Phoenix knew that it wasn’t God’s design nor His will that he carry the Vision of God alone.  On December 4, 1993, he was blessed with a companion, a help-meet, an anointed woman of God, a partner in the vision, Antoinette Newsum Phoenix.

Pastor Phoenix has been imparted God’s love, wisdom, and knowledge.  He has committed himself to being demonstrative in these attributes; imparting the same into the hearts and minds of God’s people.  His teachings are tremendous blessings in the lives of many.
