KKNO GUIDELINES FOR PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS

The KKNO Community Calendar is available to you to help spread the word

about your upcoming event.

KKNO reserve the right to the following:
• to make final decision regarding promoting your upcoming event on our website or on-air
• to refuse any event considered inappropriate for our listeners
• to edit content if necessary

We recommend you submit your Public Service Announcements (PSA) four
weeks in advance.

In order for an event to be announced on the air, the following requirements
must be met:
• The event sponsored is a non-profit
• The event is free to the public
• The information has been submitted six to eight weeks in advance

SUBMIT YOUR EVENT

All events submitted for our community calendar are also considered for the on-air Public Service Announcements. Due to the high volume of submissions, KKNO is not able to promise on-air mentions for all PSAs.

Please include all pertinent information (date, time, location, organization, contact person, phone number, web address, etc.) Your announcement should be no longer than 30 seconds in length and prepared for broadcasting.
