The love for learning all I can of GOD and creation, the enjoyment of most forms of music and the joy of meeting and greeting new people as well as learning of good community activity graduated into the development and hosting of a weekly all positive radio talk show entitled "Talk NOLA." The talk show experience grew into a desire to include more music. Learning through an internship blessing at K75 increased the reality of the effect of positive music. Currently hosting k75's "The Friday Night Praise Party"

Olga Johnson joined the K75 staff in 1989 to fill in for two weeks while the station found a permanent announcer for its weekend shift. Well, it’s been 22 years and it’s probably safe to say she must be the weekend announcer the station was looking for.
Olga has a Bachelor Degree in broadcast journalism from Loyola University in New Orleans. She began her career in radio as a news reporter and then as news anchor. Olga views her radio shift as a music ministry. She says it’s her love of God that led her to becoming a gospel disc jockey. She’s had the opportunity to MC at the concerts of Ben Tankard and Helen Baylor to name a few. She has also MC’d a number of stage plays at the Saenger Theatre.
Olga thanks her listening audience for keeping her energized all of these years. She says it’s their requests for the latest contemporary gospel songs and those old hymns of the church that inspire her musical selections during her shift. She reminds her listeners “that only what you do for Christ will last” each weekend on her broadcast. Olga looks forward to many more years of spreading God’s word through good Christian music on K75 am.
My name is Avery Martin. I am a student at Southeastern Louisiana University. I love God to the fullest. He is the biggest influence in my life, and I want to be an example of him to people around my campus. I am deeply involved with FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and this semester I am going to be on the leadership team.
Some of my favorite things to do is make music. I am really good at creating music on my computer, and I am taking piano lessons to get better at music as a whole. I play music at my father's church. Music is my passion. I feel that God is leading me down this road.
Working at KKNO 750AM is one of the greatest privleges I have been given. I enjoy talking to the people on air, and the music I play is straight from the heart. I want people to feel what I feel when they listen to the radio, and know that God is using me.
