Lois R. Blakes

Lois is the widow of Bishop Robert C. Blakes Sr. She is the mother of two sons, both of whom are Senior Pastors within the New Home Full Gospel Ministries of New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is the grandmother of five granddaughters, one grandson, and two great grandsons.
A native of New Orleans, her life is centered around God, her family, and fulfilling the position of Executive Pastor at New Home Ministries. She is the founder and director of the Free Spirit Women of Victory, a ministry designed to meet the needs of the TOTAL WOMAN - Spirit, Soul and Body. Her chief objective is to help women realize who they are and to promote awareness of their specific purposes and functions in the Body of Christ. Her aim is to prepare women to face the challenges in today's society and to live victoriously in spite of the obstacles.
Lois serves as CEO and General Manager of KKNO Unmistakably Christian Radio, where she presently host the “Woman’s Corner”, a program that offers biblical answers, spiritual guidance and comfort for women from all walks of life; she is former host of the “Issues of Life”, which brought community awareness to services offered by various organizations and small businesses. These two programs have touched and changed numerous lives.
Lois is a born again spirit-filled anointed vessel chosen by God. Her life exemplifies the virtuous woman described in Proverbs; for she is a priceless gem that only God himself could have created. Her life radiates with the God-given qualities of Love, Obedience, Inspiration, and Strength. She is truly a woman after God's own heart, and is continuously seeking His face for His divine guidance and direction. Her daily prayer is... 'Lord, order my steps in Your will and in Your way.'
